Viking Sewing Feet

I didn’t put my presser foot down on my sewing machine! Crap!?
I was really tired when I forgot to put my presser foot down on my sewing machine! What do I do to fix it?! I’ve never done this before
It’s a Husqvarna viking 118
Your question is not that clear. So, I will address both issues for you and others who may have one of the following problems:
Do you have a major thread jam or is the presser foot stuck in the up position?
For a jam – turn off the power, remove the needle and presser foot. Open the needle plate and carefully cut the thread and gently pull all the tangles out of the bobbin area.
Re-place the needle as it may have bent.
Re-thread the machine with the presser foot up and take out the bobbin and re-set with the thread feeding though the guide (s) on the side of the bobbin case.
Lower and raise the top thread by moving the handwheel by hand to pull up the bobbin thread.
Hand walk the first couple of stitches or hold onto the thread ends as you begin to sew with the presser foot down.
I have a sewing machine that has two levels of “down”.
Try raising the presser foot as high as you can and then lower it to the lowest position.
If the machine is electronic, power off and back on may help.
Take several breaks while sewing and relax your shoulders.
Do the “yes”, “no” and “I don’t know/shrug)” motions with your head to loosen up tension in the neck.
If you are still not as alert as you should be, stop.
As Scarlet O’Hara said – “tomorrow is another day!”
