Singer Sewing Machine 1507
When I try to do a straight stitch the top stitch is fine but the bottom stitch gets all bunched up.?
O.K. this is a little hard to explain because I am a beginner sewer. I just got a new Singer 1507 and for my first project I tried to just do a basic straight stitch.The upper thread is nice and even but the lower thread bunches all up until it all gets stuck in my sewing machine and I had to cut it out and then rip out the stitch. I removed and reinserted the bobbin case and when I pull on the thread it pulls out easily. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I will admit that the instructions and diagram for inserting the bobbin were kind of confusing.
The top tention is too tight!
Play with it and try on scrap fabric until you get it right.
