Singer Commercial Grade Heavy-duty Sewing Machine
Singer sewing machines which one??
I have visited my local Singer dealer and have tried both of these machines. Having a difficult time deciding between the Singer CG590 Commercial Grade and the Singer Quantum 9910. Both machines are heavy duty and fit my sewing needs. I’ve searched for customer reviews for both machines with limited results. Please help me decide which machine to purchase.

I think this depends a lot on whether you want the fancy stitches. I have a Quantum 9920 (just a few more stitches than the 9910), and it sews beautifully. I’ve heard these machines are electronic rather than computer. The only thing I really don’t care for is the sewing light — the LED light is too bright for me when I’m threading the needle by hand. All right, I’m old fashioned — I thread by hand most of the time instead of using the needle threader. I don’t know much about the CG590. I know both are sold on eBay(new and refurbished) by sewing machine dealers — sometimes with free shipping — and the price is better than the local dealers if you don’t need lessons. Hoped this helped some.
