Overlocker Pro Lock 300?

Hi,
I want to buy second hand Over locker Sewing Machine Pro Lock 300 from ebay. Do you know is this machine good? Is it easy to find spare parts?

I wouldn’t buy a second hand serger from a place like ebay unless you know something about the machine and the seller is willing to offer you some sort of warranty. Sergers take a lot more abuse than the average sewing machine, and they are mechanically more complex. I consider myself a fair home sewing machine mechanic, and I’ve fixed a couple of problems on a serger that I’ve mostly worn out, but most of the major serger repairs are well above my pay grade. And serger repairs are generally not cheap.

I really encourage serger newbies to buy locally from a dealer who can support you during the initial learning curve, which is fairly steep at first. There are a lot of good used machines out there at local dealers, and you can try before you buy.
