How much does a Bernina 1008 sewing machine cost?
I can’t find the price anywhere online so if anyone can find it or knows thanks for letting me know!
You won’t find a price online. Each dealer sets his/her own price. About $800 near me. Unless you really, really want a basic mechanical machine, I’d be looking at electronics in this price range. You get better control of the needle and servo or stepper motors, so you’ve got full needle force even at very slow sewing speeds that cause a mechanical machine to stall.
If you’re determined to go for a Bernina, at least look at the 950 (a commercial machine) and the Activa 210, the least expensive electronic, before making up your mind.
