Sewing A Rolled Hem
Clothing rolls up when sewn on edge.?
I am a student planning on majoring in fashion design and I do small alterations on the side. I came across a problem and can’t seem to be able to sew the edges of a collar or the eedge of the bottom of a shirt without it rolling up. I stich around to hem, I use it because I love the decorative look of the zig zag stitch on the edge but I can’t get a serger so I use a regular digital sewing machine, Any suggestions on how I can sew the edges of garments with a regular sewing machine, without the edges rolling up?
