How do I oil a Nelco YM40 sewing machine?

Be sure to use sewing machine oil, not WD-40 (it’s a solvent, not a lubricant, and will evaporate and freeze the machine) nor 3 in 1 type oils (they get gummy and freeze the machine). You can get a bottle of sewing machine oil at Walmart ($3/4oz) or any sewing machine shop and most fabric stores.
