Leather Sewing Needles
What sewing machine should i use for sewing leather?
The leather I want to work with is about the same thickness as shoe leather. Would most sewing machines handle this with a leather needle?
And if anyone has any other tips about sewing with leather that would be helpful.

No, you’ll need a machine that can handle that leather. Industrial machines are fairly specialized.

Home machines can handle up to about pigsuede or kid, but not much more.
Often, the cheapest and easiest thing to do is to take the item to the local shoe repair shop and have them sew it for you.
