Kenmore 12 Stitch Sewing Machine
Reviews on Kenmore Sewing Machine W/43 stitch functions and built in needle threader?
I’m looking to buy my first sewing machine; I was looking at a basic 6-12 stitch function Kenmore sewing machine but the reviews were horrible.
Now I’m looking at this. It says its great for beginners but any feedback?
Anyone have this type of sewing machines? Would you recommend it?
If not what do you recomed?
Specifics?
I’ll be sewing a variety of fabrics for lace to denim if that helps.
Kenmores are currently built by Janome, so they should be an adequate machine. Personally, though, I think you’d be better off trying some machines in your price range out at a real sewing machine dealer if you really haven’t sewn before — there’s really nothing to match hands-on experience, and the backup you should get from a real dealer. The only other thing I’ll say is that I think needle threaders are highly over-rated, and likely to be damaged.
