Expensive Sewing Machines
what is a good sewing machine to get thats not too expensive?
i need it to be
-durable
-able to quilt
-able to make clothes and projects like that
im a new sewer but i like to quilt and make clothes. i plan to continue learning how to sew so i want one that i can grow into. one with a lot of options and one that doesnt jam or break down. any ideas?

Personally, I’d be looking at the midrange electronics from a decent maker like Janome, Juki, Viking.
My main machine is a Viking that’s about equal to the Emerald series today; it’s performed flawlessly for the past 15 years. Pricey and worth it. I’m also pretty impressed with the Juki series of household machines. Not well advertised, but quite solid. If you can find a dealer, try one.
