Embroidery machines: Does anyone know if the stitch erasers work?
I have a brother PE-150. I had a little “mis-hap” with a canvas tote bag. I’ve been using fine, sharp pointed scissors, with a little success. It is just very time consuming. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the “electric clipper” looking stitch erasers…or any other ideas to take out my stitches that were messed up! Thanks.
Yes.
They work just fine. They are a bit expensive, but they hold up pretty well. You may loose a small percentage even using the eraser and I, too, would recommend a seam ripper if that was enough to get you by, but if you are trying to repair many pieces or trying to remove a large amount of filled or layered stitches, there is nothing I have found to work better.
