How do I attach my zipper foot to my Singer sewing machine?
I’m making one of those cloth children’s books filled with batting, and I bought piping to run along the edge of the pages. The employees at Joann Fabric informed me that I need to use a zipper foot if I want to machine sew the piping onto the fabric, so I bought one, but I’m having the darndest time figuring out how to attach it to my machine! Does anyone know how to attach a Singer zipper foot to a Singer sewing machine?
if this is the one that you have http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/317nru7Ts%2BL._SL500_AA280_.jpg you place it under the shaft and you lower it it will snap on in place , if not there is a screw on the left side loosen that and attach the zipper foot and re fasten the screw.
