Buttonhole Machine
How do you make buttonholes with a Bernina 150?
My machine has a buttonhole stitch, but I forgot how to use it – how to toggle the machine between stitching the 4 different sides of the buttonhole. I cannot find my manual. Help!!
Here is a link if you want a new manual. I have a Bernina830 with a 4- step buttonhole maker but I seldom use it. You basically just adjust the stitch width and length,sew up one side of your mark,stop, lenthen the width for the top, shorten for the other side and lengthen again for the bottom. I suggest you make a few samples on scrap fabric until you get it right. When doing the ends of the buttonhole, drop the feed dogs so your fabric doesn’t move.
You should think about calling your Bernina dealer and maybe they could advise you on your buttonhole dilemma.
