Brother Computerized Sewing
What is a great computerized sewing machine for under $175?
I love sewing and quilting. I make pretty much everything, but I don’t have money for a godly machine, but I figure it’s all about how you use it. C= I love janome’s, but I have yet to see a computerized one under 175. I like brothers or janomes, so if you could provide me with links to GOOD GOOD machines for that price, I’d adore you for life. Please, though only brothers and janomes.

I have found the dealer is more important that the brand.
If you want to quilt, look for a machine with a large harp (area to the right of the needle). This will provide the extra room needed when maneuvering a quilt.
Try out as many brands and models as you can and then purchase the brand you like best from the dealer you like best.
Bernina, Babylock, Brother, Janome, Pfaff, Singer and Viking are all excellant brands.
You may find a gently used model that has all the bells and whistles you want and will fit your budget.
